The Plant is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented candidate to join our team as a Part-Time Landscaping and Events Assistant. This position requires an individual who is not only adept at landscaping tasks but is also capable of assisting with event setup and breakdown. The ideal candidate should be proficient in operating small equipment such as blowers, weed-eaters, and tractors. This role will also involve general cleaning duties and various odd jobs as needed.

Responsibilities:

    Landscaping Tasks:
 

• Operate small landscaping equipment, including blowers, weed-eaters, and tractors.

• Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning.

• Assist with lawn care, planting, and other landscaping activities.

• Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  
  Event Setup and Breakdown:
   

• Collaborate with the events team to set up and break down for various events.

• Arrange furniture, decorations, and equipment according to event specifications.

• Ensure timely and efficient event transitions.
  
  Cleaning and Maintenance:
   

• Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, vacuuming, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly.

• Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions promptly.
  
  Flexibility for Odd Jobs:
   

• Be available to assist with miscellaneous tasks and projects that may arise.

• Adapt to changing priorities and be willing to take on new responsibilities as needed.

       Requirements:
 

• Previous experience in landscaping and event setup preferred.

• Ability to operate small landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.

• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.

• Physical ability to perform outdoor tasks and lift heavy objects when required.

• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

• Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.

• Flexible schedule to accommodate occasional evening or weekend events.
