Space Bit, Deluxe Edition

SPACE BIT, DELUXE EDITION is an homage to my ArtOMat collection, Pocket Pop Art. The original SPACE BIT was created during July 2025 as part of Production Batch 1. The original print measured 1-3/4” x 3” and came with a tiny easel for display, and for this exhibition I blew up the background cosmos for a different glimpse of the robot’s view. The original ArtOMat piece included the following inscription on the B-side: “Thank your AI overlords, so in the Robot Uprising they’ll remember your good manners.”

POCKET POP ART came about through my work in blockprinting, and hand-carving stamps. I hand-carve small, quirky stamps and enhance them with a POP of color. This series is hand-stamped with archival, waterproof ink, and tinted with watercolor. Each original print measures 1-3/4”x3” and comes with a tiny easel. TINY TRAVELS FOR THE ARMCHAIR TRAVELER came about by accident, when I was working through writer’s block and stretching my watercolor creative muscles. After trimming paper for a larger watercolor, I had strips of leftovers I didn’t want to throw away. So I recycled them as little landscapes … and was charmed. These, too, come with tiny easels for display.

Selections from my TINY TRAVELS and POCKET POP ART public collections are currently available at Danville Bookends, VA; Baton Rouge Gallery BTR, LA; Yadkin Arts Council, NC; Benton Center, NC: City of Sugar Hill, GA; White Sands Hotel, HI; Stage West Theatre, TX. This is an open-ended project that requires continual refresh of original work.
