The Pleiades Star Cluster

These are some of my favorite results from long exposure photography of the night sky. I continue to be amazed at the variety and beauty of what's above us every night - which can only be perceived through the use of telescopes, digital cameras, and computer processing. Each of these pieces was photographed over multiple nights from my backyard, resulting in exposure times in the range of 15 to 42 hours to generate the final image.
