Join artist Claire Alexandre on July 2nd from 6 to 8 for a conversation about her artwork currently on display at Smelt gallery. Claire’s practice is rooted in community, her studies of local ecologies and their ties to the African Diaspora. She will dive into the individual stories that shaped some of her most recent pieces and emphasize the important role of art in building towards safe sustainable futures for all, particularly queer BIPOC.
