About the event
Musician and writer, Brenda Linton returns to The Wheelhouse this June! The Sparklers will be joining her and special guest, Scotty Young. If you missed the last show, you want to secure your seat for this one!
Linton is a versatile artist well known to audiences at The Plant. In 2021, she organized the UnityFest
Concert, featuring local musicians and music students, to help bring the community together in the
aftermath of Covid-19. In 2022 and 2023, at events to support the missions of the Chatham County Arts
Council and the Ukrainian Association of North Carolina, Linton combined readings from her memoir
with newly composed music to create an enhanced experience for listeners. More recently, she
