About the event

The Deep Chatham Ramblers feature Sean Deegan on Rhythm/Lead Guitar and vocals. Sean comes from the local band Jesse's Zoo, popular in the 1990s. He also played with the Misfit Toys, a group out of Philadelphia, for several years while he lived there. He is self-taught except for some lessons when he was very young with his mentor, Mitch Chakour (former music director for Joe Cocker, & daughter Alicia Chakour is now part of Tedeschi Trucks band). He has played in bands his whole life, writes music & lyrics, records, produces and mixes music, and likes to provide a good time for all while in a live music environment!  Tommy Cheek plays bass and vocals. Tommy's style is rock solid and built on the late 50s & early 50s Doo Whoop era, along with Gospel and modern music like the Beatles and the 4 Tops. Once he saw the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show, he KNEW he had to play and sing music. Harmony is his favorite part of being in an ensemble, but his rock-solid bass playing is good for the mind, body, and soul!  Rob Windsor also on vocals plays the drums. Like Sean, Rob comes from the local band Jesse's Zoo and has spent most of his life playing drums, writing, and recording music. He and Sean have reconnected after a 10-12 year hiatus (raising kids, etc.) to join forces with the rest of the band, get out, and provide some real good time fun for everyone! His playing is unmistakable, and combined with Tommy's deep grooves, they form the backbone of Deep Chatham Ramblers!  Dave Brooks who plays lead guitars and sings,  comes from a long line of local touring bands, including Jerry Allison, Franks Garage, The Big Time Party Band, and many others. He is featured on Tiff Wilsons Beach Music Hit "Do You Like What You See" (charted on beach music charts). There is nothing Dave can't do, and he enjoys playing a wide variety of musical styles, from Led Zepplin to Beach Music to anything else. He claims to be Chatham County's Oldest surviving teenager.
