June 19th 1865 is remembered around America as the day the African American people were liberated from slavery. Years of traditions, culture, and memories have of been passed down since. Reminding future generations of the hardships and struggle we went through to get here today. Eyes Wide Open is taking a spin on this cultural day to give our people a space to share our history while celebrating our culture. Not only will we have all African American music performances from the Raleigh area, but also black businesses at the forefront to support.
