Julia Hartsell and Alexis Dumain are two flow and ritual artists from Silk Hope/Chapel Hill, NC,  who interweave hoop dance, sustained spinning, and embodied storytelling in ritual performance. In their upcoming piece, titled"Respair: To Breathe Again," they integrate and invert mythologies of descent and renewal, breathing new life into ancient myths of our collective and individual underworld journeys.
