Live Music: Bluegrass Battleship

The Bluegrass Battleship has had a ton of fun playing in the area for almost fifteen years now and have developed a loyal following.  They feature tight, intricate harmonies and some pretty fine instrumental work as well.  They have released one CD and have played gigs in the Adirondack mountain area and locally at Full Steam, Carrboro Music Festival, Bynum Front Porch, University Place, Johnny's Coffee House, Chapel hill Country Club, and many, many private and church events.

The band plays an eclectic assortment of acoustic music ranging from bluegrass to Beethoven.  Included are Terry Baker on banjo and dobro, Scott Provan on Guitar, Catherine Grodensky on mandolin, Eileen Regan on Fiddle, Marc Alperin on bass, and vocalist Jane Provan.
