Live Music: Bob Bedell

Bob Bedell is a singer-songwriter out of Pittsboro, NC, who writes with an eclectic style of alternative Americana pulling from blues, rock, alt-country, and folk. Bob explores musical discourse through various acoustic themes from the alluring and simplistic, to the serious and inane, and sometimes he just cuts loose and goes wide open! Listen closely and you may hear how songs can feel like a memory.  Bedell is currently working on his first solo recordings, after 4 decades of playing in full bands. Bob started writing songs in the mid-70s continuing with several bands through the 80s, one (the Unitz) traveled the Southeastern states playing College towns on campus and in clubs. The Unitz (based in Knoxville, Tn) shared the stage with many “famous” groups, and even got to headline the new Grand Ole Opry and record at Ardent Studios in Memphis.
