About the event
The Poetic Justice League is a group of poets from Carrboro High School whose goal is to spread poetry throughout the community and use their voices to create change. Founded by CHS educators Raquel Harris and Matthew Murchison in 2024, PJL is currently in its second year of operation, and has grown to double its original size. Led by Carrboro and CHCCS School District Poet Laureate, Owen Russell, these poets, writers, musicians, artists, and activists are making waves throughout the triangle.
