Our dear friend Joe Kenlan died last week.
He lived in the woods of Chatham County since the 1970s, and became known as a master of stone artistry.
I frequently bumped into Joe walking in the woods over the years. He was a lover of trees and trails and the miracle that is this garden planet.
His daughter Katie has asked us to accept donations in lieu of flowers so that we can purchase and plant trees and native plants in his memory. To do that, click on the "Contribute Now," and we will make it happen.
