Fly Already by Pamela Fleischauer

Framed collage

I have always loved collage work and working with paper whether it be cutting silhouettes or writing calligraphy for weddings. I am in the process of moving and came up upon all of these old greeting cards and magazine clippings of beautiful nature images. I didn’t want to get rid of them. I am a music and an art teacher and this piece marries the two. It’s a celebration of all living things and living life to the fullest alongside all of the darkness, pain and suffering that we all experience.
