Mixed media canvas with paint and collage materials This piece was a reflection of the messiness of my own grief. My father died two years ago and I used mixed media to access my emotions about ways grief is messy but that beauty also sometimes grows from the grief. It's a duality of holding space for both the ache in my heart of loss and the ways things grow and life keeps going.
