An Eternal Offering to Annihilation considers mortality through the visual language of an offering. Embroidered flowers, fruit, insects, and animal bodies coexist with skeletal forms, bringing symbols of abundance and decay into the same ornamental space. Drawing from traditional decorative imagery and the long association between embroidery, domestic ritual, and remembrance, the work treats death as something embedded within life. The piece resists turning mortality into either tragedy or consolation; instead, it lingers in the uneasy intimacy between beauty, nourishment, decay, and disappearance.
