Pixie Portals by Ruth Turner

30" x 30"

Acrylic paint on canvas

This piece is about the magical transformation that is constantly happening all around us. The spiral composition shows the cyclical nature of existence. The fae folk represent the underlying creative forces of constant and inevitable symbol of change. The pixies are present to midwife our human experiences and guide us through these portals as the circle of life continues to turn. Owls overlook the scene as a symbol of wisdom, intuition, hidden truths, and major life transitions.
