"From an early age I was fascinated with the relationship between our physical world and our metaphysical self. I have searched for understanding in many walks of life; through travel, work, relationships, spirituality, and interesting experiences.
After studying biology in Fort Lauderdale, I attended medical school in South Carolina where I was training to become a plastic surgeon. I was testing in the top percentile and gained a thorough education in anatomy, but found my calling to be elsewhere, outside the field of medicine. I left medical school in 2020 and spent some years running my pet store, where I worked extensively with my animals.
After making an exit from the pet industry, I followed in my grandfathers footsteps and became a full time artist. I learned to work with steel and began sculpting in 2023. After creating and selling hundreds of sculptures, drawings, and paintings, I find that I am still discovering new innovative ways to bring the arts into a higher form.
The goal of my artistic vision is to facilitate a more powerful connection between our inner being and the art objects we view, feel, hear, and interact with. The aim of my practice is to push the limits of what is possible with many mediums, to create unique work that captures our curiosities, and to evoke emotion that contributes to a deeper understanding of the interrelation between the human condition and our natural world."
