Materials used: scrap metal, paint, and concrete; Installation requirements: cement base installed on flat surface including groundI was interested in the puzzle of combining different metals and exploring balance and symmetry. The bell is made out of an old CO2 tank. On either side of the bell are pieces of an old saw mill. Other metal parts include clutch plates, transmission gears, brake boosters, spark plugs, and a muffler and exhaust pipe.

"I have lived in Chatham County for nearly 20 years. I started welding as a car mechanic. Several years ago, I began welding scrap metal into outdoor sculptures of flowers, bugs, and animals inspired by my garden. I use metal from oil drums, broken bikes, and old cars-whatever I can find."
