Metamorphosis
"Metamorphosis" resembles a monarch butterfly made entirely from scrap metal found at a scrap yard. Monarch butterflies symbolize change and transformation. "As an artist and even a human, I have found myself in moments of change that may not always sit right with me. Most transitional periods in my life were not 'picture perfect'. For me, the significance of the monarch being crafted solely out of scrap metal signifies the struggle brought on by change. I like to say, "I am every mess I have ever made.", relating well to the meaning of "Metamorphosis."
