This mural does not yet exist. It’s about to cover the walls of the Bath House down at the Plant. Put it in the “Coming Soon” bucket.
The genesis of this project started with the cartoons of Ralph Barton. Think Harlem Renaissance meets The New Yorker. Thomas suggested it be done in animals instead of humans. I wasn’t sure about that. Too kid centered for me. When Carrie Wise moved the conversation to insects, suddenly there was a native plant tie in, and we had our theme. Bingo.
The building has just been pressure washed. Let the mural begin...
