This is stand of loblolly pines that grows in the constructed wetland next to the Tree Museum.
It was taken by Bob, of Bill and Bob--the twins that like to drink beer on BMC Brewing's south patio.
Last winter I spent some time in Tamarindo, Costa Rica, where they have built an entire economy around sunsets (and surfing). Each night the beach fills up with a thousand people who make the trip to watch the sunset on the Pacific Ocean.
Perhaps sunset tourism should begin at home...

What a beautiful post - it really captures how sunset chasing becomes its own kind of travel ritual. I still smile thinking of watching the sky turn gold in the Greek islands last fall, and the only thing better than the memory is having a few prints to hold. That’s where Snapfish https://snapfish.pissedconsumer.com/review.html came in handy for me: I uploaded my favorite sunset shots right from my phone, and having real photo books and prints made sharing the trip with family so much more personal than keeping everything on a hard drive. Thanks for sharing this spot, it’s going on my list.
Music heightens intensity during fights and reinforces the bloodmoney atmosphere during quieter scenes. Video and sound work together to create a unified and memorable experience that players remember long after they finish playing.
Your breakdown of sunset tourism is interesting. Reminds me of the calming vibes in Snow Rider's mountain levels. The attention to detail in Snow Rider's snow effects adds such immersion.
